IPR Strategic Plan 2010

Dr. Beth Walter Honadle began as Director of the IPR in the fall of 2004. One of her first initiatives was spearheading the development of a strategic plan to guide the organization for the next five years. The senior research team met in a series of three retreats, which were facilitated by a management consultant, to forge a written plan. Between retreats team members worked on assignments and presented the results of their "homework" for discussion at the next meeting. The Strategic Plan 2010  was presented to the IPR staff for feedback and discussion at a meeting for all IPR employees in the spring of 2005. IPR staff members are assigned as stewards whose role is to focus attention and keep momentum going on the achievement of the four goals of building on our foundation, engagement, increasing revenues, and enhancing our capacity. In the fall of 2005 the IPR will begin quarterly meetings with an advisory council who will help advance the IPR by bringing fresh perspectives and advice.
